Hi guys. At the NSSA this year I had to come up with a solution for taking food and tons of water out sailing with me on the vareo, as it doesn't have any decent storage pockets. What I did was cable tie a bicycle water bottle holder to the very front of my left toes trap and poked a couple of holes in my old topper sailing solutions bag and cable tied it right at the front of my right toe strap. Very unobtrusive and useful. I also found that my camelbak 2l water bladder fitted perfectly in the bottom of the bag with loads of room for snacks and stuff on top. Great for a quick hands free drink whilst sitting forward on your beat! Below is the link to the bag.

Here's another options for you.  Put some shock chord around the mast bridge.  The previous owner had done so on mine and used it to strap the main halyard to the bridge.  It means the spinnaker sock is free and you can put e.g. chocolate and juice in there.  It also means you can stash stuff under the bridge as well.  I've stored lunch boxes for back to back racing or last weekend, I had a secret pasty in case of emergency munchies :-o.  I've also taken a wet bag with towels and clothes shoved under the bridge when going off from Netley over to Cowes.  You have to pay attention to not trap the spinnaker line but otherwise works well.

I agree with Michael. I usually strap a watertight box under the starbord side of the bridge.
